Maedhros had thought he'd seen the worst that could possibly be during his time in Angband. The Moringotto, Sauron, the Valaraukar... And when Findekano came for him, he'd thought worst was over. Sorontor carries them safely away from Thangorodrim. He can rest. Finally.

But then the stars go dark. Not clouded over like Moringotto had done at times but the stars themselves. And yet there's still some kind of light but it is all wrong. He cries out in horror, reaching for his cousin with his remaining hand.

Maedhros only came to the wedding for one reason. His king had insisted he must to at least this for his charge. Personally, Maedhros thought it was a horrible idea. It was bad enough the poor girl was stuck with him as a godfather. For him to actually intrude on her life and risk everything she had just gotten? That would just be cruel.

But he couldn't just refuse his king and he could not go to a wedding, much less a royal wedding, empty handed. So here he was, awkwardly trying to avoid notice and most likely failing horribly thanks to his height.

General: Maedhros has been through a lot and has seen a lot. He can easily bring up some triggering topics. I can, however, avoid them if needed. If any of the following are an issue, please, please, let me know.
- suicide
- violence/war/war crimes
- torture
- unhealthy family dynamics

Powers (Mask or Menace/canon): Maedhros' elven physiology is fairly self-explanatory. He also has limited mental abilities and magic. All elves have at least the potential for foresight and telepathy/empathy. Maedhros has not particularly developed this but he can pick up on some thoughts or feelings. Occasionally, some foresight can show up in his dreams or via a vague premonition. Maedhros' magic mostly focuses on crafting (think the Palantir, magic rings, or elven blades that glow around orcs) or skills useful on the battle field. Some are more obvious, such as being able to start fires with a word. Others are more subtle such as using words or songs to impact morale or other emotions, enhance the healing properties of various herbs, or curse someone. Also, curses in Maedhros' canon are themselves very ambiguous. Rather than spells such as in Harry Potter, these curses proclaim a doom on someone that will happen at some point in the future over any length of time. They span the range from "the day you shoot a bow, you will die by being shot with a bow" to "everything you start will end up going wrong because of betrayal and fear of betrayal" to "you and your family will live miserable lives, fail at everything, and die horribly".
